Small buttons, made with a lot of care.
Each of these little 11.5mm buttons is individually made by me in my New Forest workshop, using real hardwood chosen for its colour, character and grain.
I love working at this scale. Even on a button this small, the natural patterns in the wood can be extraordinary.
I like to think of my buttons as siblings rather than clones. Each pack is made from the same piece of wood, so the buttons share a grain, a colour and a story. But look closely and you'll find little differences. A darker streak here, a twist in the grain there. They're unmistakably related, but each has its own personality.
That's one of my favourite things about working with wood. Nature doesn't make identical copies, and I wouldn't want it to.
Choose your wood:
Yew – Warm, golden tones with beautiful, subtle grain.
Laburnum – Rich, dark wood with distinctive golden grain.
Olive – Creamy golden wood with wonderfully dramatic, swirling patterns.
Xylia Hexagons – Six-sided buttons with a beautiful reddish-brown colour.
Mixed Hardwoods – Six buttons in six different woods. A little collection of personalities if you can't choose just one.
